Hi There!
I have a couple of things to share today - Let's get the business out of the way first.
I goofed with the ScrapDat Card group date - I am booked on that day and need to move our Card group to July 27th 1 - 3. I hope that will work out for the group. The cards are so cute, I have been playing with them but don't have the finished product yet to share.
Sharon P came over this week and we played with our Paper Pumpkin kits. We actually put the May scrapbook together with. It came with bunches of stickers and "polaroid" frames. Will be fun and easy to put photos in it!
The June Kit was a card kit and the cutest one yet!
We used a new stamp set with it called Six Sided Sampler which I purchased in one of the new "BUNDLES" came with the punch for $29.50 (15% discount!) - ITEM 132724. The Hosted set Simply Sketched has gorgeous artwork as well but we used the sentiments from that stamp set as well as the "Hello to you!" from the Pumpkin set. The Pumpkin set also came with a Chevron stamp (which is such a trend right now). Any how, Sharon and I had a blast stamping and playing with the pieces of the kit. Only adhesive is needed with these kits - but .... you never want to do them the way they come - DO YA? HA!
I already mailed the other two out! How is that for fast production!
Then I created some Winner Certificates for a team game we have at work. The prize is bragging rights but it always is better when you have something to show the losers - right?
I used the new Simply Stars stamp set for the red star and the Blue Rock Start stamp is actually from a retired set. But I just loves stars and in honor of our Independence Day used Cherry Cobbler and Midnight Muse with the Flowering Flourished stamp set to create the background. Also used the labels framelets with dimensionals to create a shadowbox like effect.
We are headed to the Westbank on Saturday for the all day crop at Scrap Friendzee. Come join us if you have the day to spare or drop in and check out Jackie's shop! She has a lot of great things - it is worth the road trip!
Hope your Summer is going great and you are getting a little ink and paper time in.
Embossed Hugs!
Lori
