Hi Thereeee! How R ya?
I am getting prepared for the Mini Envelope Album class this week. A couple of people have told me that it looks too complicated for them! I am here to tell ya ... if you can use a paper trimmer then this class is for you! But there is only one spot left in the class! And the finished product is going to be soooo purty!
Ok so - here is who I have in the class Rachel, Reyne, Theresa, Carolyn, and Leslie. There is one spot left! I am pulling out some stamp sets to go with your themes so we have a variety of items in our arsenal! So let me know if you want that last spot so I can get some stuff together. HA!
I just LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the new catalog and CAN'T WAIT to share it with you. I have placed the order for them and will have them here in a week. Let me know if you want to pick it up early, or receive it when you attend the next class - they won't be here by Wednesday though - BOO HOO!
Along with the love of the new items is real sorrow at letting go of some of my favorite things that are not going to be in the new catalog. Here are two cards that are featuring items that are going bye bye. The Elegant Bouquet Folder make card making so easy. See below with just a simple Thanks stamp.
This is using the Wisteria Wonder Cardstock and ink, Very Vanilla Cardstock base and ribbon with Perfect Pearls for a little "jazz". Easy yet Elegant. Love this! I made 20 of these for Engagement Party gift for Mike's nephew.
And you gotta have a really great Engagement Card to go with the set - Right? Spoiler alert - this could look like a card we are doing on June 1st ScrapDat get together. Wisteria Wonder and Elegant Eggplant used with Stippled Blossoms and the new Modern Mosaic Embossing folder.
Here is a card I made for my nephew Christopher. This card is using the Blossom Punch and I just love the stuff you can do with this punch!
Let me hear you ROAR if you like this card!
Do ya think purple was the theme for this month? Love that color! Whew! Okay well...
So the next business is that the next three PMS classes will be working on our Mini Envelop Book while eating Pizza and listening to tunes!
First Mini Envelope Class is this Wednesday, May 22nd at 6:30 PM at my house. Must RSVP for a spot and only one spot left! This is not a difficult class but we will be doing it step by step for the first few sections so we will stay together. If you know how to use your paper trimmer, then you can do this class. Bring your basic scrapping supplies along with 6 - 8 envelopes (Recollection notes and envelopes from Michaels works well for this), two chipboard pieces 1" taller and wider than your envelopes, and coordinating designer paper (10 - 12 pieces) and Cardstock to match. Liquid glue, ink to match your projects. We will begin on basic construction of one section and the cover this week.
Scrapdat Card class is Saturday, June 1st and we will do three projects from easy to elegant using the Stippled Blossom stamp set and the new Baked Brown Sugar Cardstock. Cost is $5 and must RSVP for a spot. Already RSVP'd is Reyne, Ann Marie, Rachel and Carolyn. SO RSVP so I can have your kit cut.
Easy peasy one.
This one a little more complicated - embossed backgroup (bow is missing in pic).
And then time permitting we will work in these colors with a more complicated layered card! Okay? Let me hear ya holla if you want to join us!
As a thank you to those that have been supporting my little business with orders, I created and mailed a greeting card using a bunch of the new products. As a little fun event, I put a challenge in the card to email me with a list of the new products they thought the card contained. Deadline for entry is Friday, May 24th (Mom's Birthday - Happy Birthday Mom!). Winner of the $25.00 spending spree for the New product contest card will be announced during that event.
Can't wait to get scrappin' with ya'll.
