Pines & Poinsettias - Christmas is coming OH ME! OH MY!
I am not ready are you? But ready or not it will come. I am so excited to be participating with Sandi and Friends Countdown to Christmas. Last year I was totally hooked and hoping to hook you too! Here’s how it works, we will share ideas for Christmas themed projects with you each week from now until Christmas, which is about 12 weeks! You can view the projects each week from the blog, to get the tutorial, you need to sign up for the newsletter. You will notice that my newsletter is not available yet. It will be available by next week (I hope). So sign up next week and I will send you the tutorial for this week and next week. Deal?
I live in the Deep South, and the pine trees abound everywhere. I just love the Pines and Poinsettias stamp set that coordinates so well with the Holly Berry Bouquet designer series paper (DSP). The pinecones really lend themselve to a glittery snow look (not that I know much about snow!). Featured this week is a really cute funky fold card. These cards are designed to be “No Additional Postage Required” (NAPR) or flat cards as Sandi calls them. What is so wonderful about these cards is that I can see them perched on a fireplace mantel or TV for show because they “stand up” all by themselves.
Can you see the sparkly snow dripping off the pinecones?
And you need a little place to put a note - right? How about on the back?
I know they look difficult but if I can do it .... you can do it! Sign up next week for my newsletter and I will show you how! Tutorial is FREE!

What a sweet old=fashioned card. This is something my grandmother would have picked.
I just feel warm and cozy all over. Thanks
