I’m BACK!
Sorry for the long lapse in post. A LOT has been going on around here. My husband has decided to give me a fresh new start in my office. So he is painting my world red! Which means everything that was in there, is now in the den. Try finding all your supplies in that mess! Ryan’s wedding was yesterday and so much fun. The sign in book was so fun to work on. Here are a couple of pictures to show you! One side had pictures, the other was where guests would sign in.
Her wedding was Vintage - so we inked all the pages front and back to look old with River Rock, Soft Suede and Basic Black.
One side had pictures, the other was where guests would sign in.
Yesterday was a rainy day (much like today). I decided to create a wedding card. You know it is so nice to have all the materials color coordinated so easy to use together that you need at your fingertips. Did you know that there is a Discounted Demonstrator Sign Up that ends July 31st? If you would like to have $185 of product for only $99, which more than twice as much product when you read all the goodies that come with the Hobby Demonstrator status, then you should call me and lets discuss all the perks for you! Click here for more info. It is so easy to get off topic when you are so excited! Back to the wedding card It is a tri-fold card which allows for lots of space for me to write a witty, inspiring message to the new couple. Her wedding colors are white and black. You know, I have to “spice it up” with a bit of Cherry Cobbler! Love, Love, Love the Cherry Cobbler Embossing Powder - Thinking Christmas anyone?
It is a trifflin' Tri-Fold! HA! Meghan says that - Triffilin' - I am not sure what it means!
Lots of room to write a message to the new couple!
Recipe:
8 ½” X 11 Basic Black Cardstock scored and folded on the 11” long side at 3 ¾ ” and 8”.
Two scraps of black run through Mr. Big Shot in the Lots of Tags Sizzlits Die (114508). I used the curvy modern tag at the top right and cut one in half long ways and cut the other in half through the middle. This way I can frame the Whisper White with a black frame a little bigger than the original cut of the white one later.
3 ½” X 7 ¼” Whisper White run through Mr. Big Shot with the Flourish texturz plate (Backgrounds 1 #114512)
2” X 4” Whisper White cut from above Flourish Texturz.
2 ½ X 8 “ Whisper White – no texturz
Scrap of Whisper White for butterflies run Mr. Big Shot through Beautiful Wings Embosslit Die (118138)
Scrap of Whisper White run through Mr. Big with the Lots of Tags Sizzlits Die
1 ½” X 3 ½” piece of designer paper (this matches the Scrap Sign In Book!)
2” X 7 ½” piece of designer paper.
12 “ of Whisper White satin ribbon (114616) tied in bow and attached to designer paper.
Uniball Signo Gel Pen (105021)
Stamp Sets -
(Heart) Hearts (118571) Stamped with Versa Mark and Embossed with Black Embossing powder (109133) and the new yummy Cherry Cobbler Embossing Powder (122949). These were hand cut and some thread was added to make a balloon effect.
Follow your Heart is from Whimsical Words (Retired) but the Full of Life set (111500 Wood) has a bunch of great sayings and A New Hand to Hold would work in great on that tag as well.
Congratulations is from Occasional Quotes (Retired) (sorry!) but there is a set called Family Reunion that has a great Congratulations (122712 Clear).
So fun! Do you like it? Leave a comment and let me know.
Well I have had a great relaxing day playing with paper!
I hope you get some ink on your fingers soon!
